Broughton Labs 2016 Annual GMP Refresher Training

Broughton Lab's 2016 Annual GMP Refresher Training was executed well with the Broughton Team Members this month.

Vicky Broomhead, Quality and Compliance Supervisor, hosted this year’s GMP Refresher in the style of ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’, with 20 questions, full title music and interactive question sheets. The room was alight with laughter--empowering, engaging and energising the team.

For continued learning and employee engagement, we feel GMP Refreshers should be interesting and exciting to take part in. From an educational standpoint, we know that people remember things better if we convert words to pictures, use music and rhyme as well as vivid message. Company culture begins at the heart of empowering our teams. We try our best to shake up the conventional presentation whilst conveying the important message of GMP requirements and changes in regulation.

Induction introduces a new team member to a four part GMP training programme, before stepping foot into the laboratory environment; Part 1 Introduction to GMP and the regulations, Part 2 Visual presentation and specifics within a laboratory, Part 3 Competency Assessment on completion of laboratory documentation and Part 4 Data Integrity and the Importance of Record Keeping.
